Jonathan joined Cowen Schwarz Marschke in November 2023, having previously worked as a research clerk for six members of the Queensland Bar.

Jonathan graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in July 2022. He was admitted to the legal profession in June 2023. Jonathan has a particular interest in commercial litigation and insolvency.

Nikieta Carleton

Professional experience

Nikieta joined Cowen Schwarz Marschke as a Solicitor in January 2024, having previously worked as a law clerk in one of Australia’s leading class actions firms, where she worked on a range of class actions including a class action that was successfully settled with the Commonwealth of Australia (Department of Defence).

Nikieta has a particular interest in commercial litigation and insolvency. She has also previously worked in property conveyancing matters and has been involved in the Innocence Project at Griffith University.

Nikieta graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in December 2022 and was admitted to the legal profession in October 2023.

Kim Nguyen

Professional experience

Kim joined Cowen Schwarz Marschke as a Graduate Law Clerk in January 2023, and was appointed a Solicitor of the firm in March 2024.

Kim graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with the College of Law and was admitted to the legal profession in March 2024. Kim has a particular interest in commercial litigation and commercial property law.
